Donna has twenty years of experience in finance and accounting, receiving a Masters of Management and Professional Accounting degree from the Joseph L. Rotman School of Management in 2001 and her Chartered Accountant designation in 2003. Her career started in public practice at Ernst & Young LLP in Assurance and Advisory Services where she managed audits for large publicly traded corporations in the banking and insurance industry in Toronto. She also worked in the private sector in management positions in large publicly traded corporations. After getting her U.S. Certified Public Accountant designation, she moved back to public practice at Ernst & Young LLP in Hawaii. Wanting a change of pace and looking to give back to the community, she moved to the Los Angeles-based AIDS Healthcare Foundation, a global not-for-profit organization, where she built the financial planning and analysis department as a Director and then as VP of Finance.
It was because of family she decided to move back to Toronto where she worked as an associate for various public accounting firms and gained extensive experience in auditing condominium corporations and small and medium sized businesses. Her passion and desire to make a difference is the reason she decided to start her own practice. She works with other like minded experienced CPAs with similar values to provide the solutions and services to meet your needs.
